The story of our passion

Chamois is a Swedish interior and lifestyle brand with a love for pattern, colour and traditional craftsmanship. Our collections bring together a Scandinavian sensibility with the rich textile heritage of India, creating pieces with a distinctive yet timeless character.

Chamois was born from my love of aesthetics, craftsmanship and travel. After many years in the international financial world, I found myself drawn towards a different way of life — one with more room for creativity, beauty and the things made slowly and with care.

During my travels in India, I fell in love with the country's extraordinary textile heritage and the centuries-old traditions of block printing and textile craftsmanship. Over the years, I have built close relationships with skilled artisans, family-run workshops and small factories, some with generations of knowledge behind them.

These relationships remain at the heart of Chamois today. Together, we create collections that combine traditional techniques with our own expression of pattern, colour and contemporary European living. It is a collaboration built over time, shaped by a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and beautiful design.
