Creating a Dream Garden Table with Solveig
There are some people who have a gift for seeing beauty where others might simply see a garden. Our friend Solveig is one of them.
Known for her creative spirit and bohemian approach to decorating, she has a wonderful ability to transform everyday spaces into something magical. Whether she is styling a corner of her home, creating a seasonal display, or setting a table outdoors, there is always a sense of imagination woven into everything she does. This summer, Solveig created a beautiful garden tablescape using our beige Apple tablecloth with matching napkins, and we were immediately inspired.
A Table Hidden Among the Flowers
What we love most about this setting is how naturally it belongs to its surroundings. Nestled beneath flowering branches and surrounded by lush greenery, the table feels as though it has grown from the garden itself. Lilac blooms spill across the table, soft colours echo the flowers overhead, and handpicked details create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There is nothing rigid or overly planned. Instead, everything feels collected, personal, and full of charm.
Let Nature Lead
One of the most beautiful ways to decorate outdoors is to allow nature to guide the colour palette. Here, soft greens, warm beige, and lavender tones create a gentle harmony between textiles, flowers, and ceramics. The Apple print blends beautifully into the garden setting, adding pattern and colour while still feeling connected to the landscape around it.
Fresh flowers become the centrepiece. Branches create a natural canopy overhead. Light filters through the leaves and changes throughout the day. The garden does much of the decorating for you.
Beauty in the Unexpected
At Chamois, we often talk about creating atmosphere rather than perfection. We believe some of the most memorable tables are not set on the terrace or in a dining room. They appear in unexpected places. Along a gravel path. Under an old tree. In a forgotten corner of the garden. These spaces invite curiosity and encourage guests to slow down and truly enjoy the moment.
A Little Garden Magic
What Solveig creates so beautifully is not simply a table setting. It is a feeling.
A reminder that decorating does not have to be complicated. That a beautiful textile, a handful of flowers, and a little imagination can completely transform a space. Perhaps that is what we love most about summer. The opportunity to step outside, gather inspiration from nature, and create moments that feel both effortless and memorable.
Thank you, Solveig, for inspiring us once again to dream a little bigger, decorate a little more freely, and see the beauty that surrounds us every day. Follow Solveig on @solis_bohemian for inspiring DIY projects, decorating tips, and more garden magic.

Chamois
