A Christmas Story, From Us to You

A time of family, food and traditions

Christmas has always been very dear to me. Growing up in Sweden, it was the season my mother loved most, a time of family, food and traditions. She, my grandmother and my aunt were all very creative, and so much of our Christmas was made by hand: paper hearts and stars, decorations for candles and flowers, and little angels that were carefully saved and brought out year after year.

She is now 98 and still makes paper decorations, while my children help me with the final touches when they arrive home. Together we decide what should hang in the windows, decorate the house and sometimes also making something new. The tradition continues and evolves, a little like our Christmas collection.

The small touches that make Christmas feel special

This year’s collection celebrates that feeling with block-printed textiles and decorative pieces designed for every part of the home. Tangier Pomegranate returns in a classic festive palette of rich red and green, while our Jaipur tablecloth is introduced in beautiful new seasonal shades, including deep Moss Green.

Alongside embroidered linen napkins and cushions combining soft velvet with hand-printed linen, the collection also includes handcrafted ornaments, decorative stars and paper goods for wrapping gifts and adding those final details. From the presents beneath the tree to a carefully dressed Christmas table, these are the small touches that make the season feel personal.

A home filled with stories

I love this time when the house slowly becomes ready for Christmas. Decorating is never something that happens in one day. It is a process of adding layers. A favourite textile, a handmade decoration, something old mixed with something new. The most beautiful homes are the ones that grow over time. They are filled with things that have been collected, created and loved - pieces that tell the story of the people who live there.
